.. I forgot my PSBank Prepaid Mastercard Account Number

A couple of months ago, in 2014, I decided to get a PSBank Prepaid Mastercard. 

I wanted to purchase some products online with AliExpress and I would like to keep my credit card information safe and secure from any dubious or shady third-party sellers that may be lurking about.

A prepaid credit card was the perfect solution! Not only could I limit my shopping spree (I LOVE shopping online! It can get pretty addictive quite fast) but I can also keep my credit info safe. A prepaid credit card allows you the same convenience of having a credit card to pay your bills or online purchases without going overboard your current balance on your Prepaid Mastercard account. If you know you have a problem in keeping to your monthly budget, better keep your balance low.

PSBank's Prepaid Mastercard doesn't require an annual fee for the continuous use of their card. Your initial deposit depends on what you want. You can put an initial deposit of Php500 up and it's all consumable. There's no maintaning balance required. Best part, PSBank's nearest branch to our house was just a few meters away. 

If you want to add more funds to your account, you can just go to the bank and deposit it the normal way. They do, however, asks for a reloading fee of Php10 fee for every transaction. So keep that it mind. If you want to keep Php2000 in your account, make sure you give Php2010 to the bank teller.

However, you can also add funds to your Prepaid Mastercard by doing it online, if you have a PSBank savings account. This is a very convenient option. I haven't tried it this way yet -- that's because I forgot my Account Number.

I know how foolish that sounds, but it did happen. 

Fortunately, my chat with an online PSBank agent got me a follow-up email from them asking me some details I have declared about myself when I first applied so that they can verify and release the Account Number I requested. I balked at the idea of sending such details through an email so I called their customer service hotline instead. It was far more secure (in my opinion) than permanently having your details in one of your emails. I also got my Account Number immediately.

I have to say, though, that when the online agent said he sent an email to me a (while we were chatting), I only actually received the said email 24-48 hours later -- even if he did say "I already sent the email". So, thanks Jeff, for making me think I gave you the wrong email even if I double-checked it when I was typing it during our chat. No biggie though, because the lady at the hotline was kind enough to process my request without problems.
