.. my Mother showed me how she used the Tornado Mop 360
What is the Tornado Mop 360?
Basically, it is a mop. But compared to traditional mops, this comes with a pail with a small slightly elevated basket on one of its side to help drain the water. The mop itself has a lock mechanism that you use to transition from using it as a sturdy mop to allowing the mop to spin itself dry inside the pail. The basket spins with the mop by the way, in case you're curious.
How much did it cost?
I got it at a bargain price of a little above 500 Philippine pesos. The other versions of this mop can go up to 1000 pesos. The sales clerk however did say this version was better because every part of the mop that you submerge in water is made of plastic and would therefore not rust - compared to other brands or models that do have a small part that does rust.
Do I like it?
Yes. Honestly, I've had enough of those cheap China-made mops with the elongated blue foam with a lever that you pull to squeeze excess water. Those do not last at all. This one, on the other hand has been a God-send. Easy to use and the mop head can be replaced and washed (and re-used).
So, how exactly did my Mother use the mop?
Oh, she mopped the floor easily. But then she told me that my mop didn't really seem to work and that it might be in need of repair. You see, when she tried to drain it, she placed the mop inside the basket and simply let it go..... [ROFL!!]
*In case you're unfamiliar how you can actually drain the mop, in unlocked form, you have to press the mop hard toward the basket (therefore in a downward manner) to make the basket and mop head spin (and drain).
